Why work with me?

“I believe in accountability. I believe in best practice. I believe in care for the carer. These elements combined support a healthy ecosystem for clients and for coaches.
I believe in collaboration over competition.”

My core values are integrity, freedom, equity and compassion.
I care deeply about what I do, and I want the best for the people I work with.

Why coaching supervision matters:

Unfortunately coaching is not as robustly monitored as interventions such as psychotherapy and counselling. Which leads sometimes to a lack of trust or credibility in coaching. I want this to change. I have seen how powerful coaching can be. It has been life-changing for me. I also know from the testimonials I have had from clients. It has been transformative to the people I have worked with.

I am passionate about lifting the profile of coaching and those I work with through providing qualitative, empathetic and development-led coach supervision.

Accrediting boards such as the ICF, Association for Coaching and the EMCC are now strongly encouraging supervision for all coaches as part of ethical practice and it is often a requirement for reaccreditation. Be part of the change, strive for the best of yourself for yourself and for your clients.

I believe that growth comes from deep reflection, both individually and with a trusted other. Join me in becoming a coach who walks the talk. Who takes care of themselves and their business - which in turn takes care of their clients.

How coach supervision will help you:

  • It enhances your credibility and that of the coaching industry.

  • Peace of mind, knowing you’re not alone in your work and decisions.

  • Duty of care for your clients and you as the coach.

  • To stay resourced and grounded and in a learning mindset.

  • Reflect professional boundaries and ethical practice.

  • You can use the hours as CPD for re/accreditation.

“Our time together has helped me regain trust in my judgement and instincts as a coach. I’m beginning to recognise that I don’t need to become a different coach to be good enough, I just need to trust and continue developing the coach I already am.”

MD, Uk

What coaching supervision isn’t:

Mentoring – it isn’t about passing an accreditation it’s about continued coach practice. It isn’t hierarchal nor directive, it’s an exchange between professionals.

Coaching – the focus is on the coaching practice, relational connection and experience rather than personal or professional goals.

Therapy – It is not focused on healing an individual’s past.

Line Management – the focus is on positive affirmation and growth, not advising nor judging.

A Trauma-informed Approach

In Supervision, I work with the understanding that trauma, chronic stress and or nervous system dysregulation exists in the many not the few.

We all hold the imprints of our life experiences in our bodies and our ways of thinking - the narratives we tell ourselves and the ways we keep ourselves safe.

By respecting and acknowledging this we can create environments of care that support healing and build reslience and uphold the 4 R’s of Trauma-Informed Care for ourselves and our clients.

1. Realise (understand trauma’s impact)
2. Recognise (trauma traits and behaviours)
3. Respond (create a supportive environment)
4. Avoid Re-traumatisation (prevent further harm)
